Yeni Şafak daily has obtained the names of top Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) terrorists positioned in Syria’s Manbij who were appointed by the group’s Qandil cadre. Positions within the council, military council, treasury and education institutions in Manbij, Syria’s largest district, are held by terrorists selected by the PKK’s Qandil forces.
The Qandil-Manbij coordination unit located at the French Lafarge cement factory is run by Turkish PKK terrorist codenamed Rezan, who notifies so-called Manbij Council Co-President Ferhat Derik of the decisions taken by the Qandil cadre.
Northern Iraq’s Qandil Mountains have been a haven for PKK terrorists over the past few decades. Considered as the main base of the PKK, which control checkpoints and entrances to the mountains, the structuring in the area is used for cover and concealment by terrorists.
Troops and civilian volunteers appointed by the U.S. do not interfere with the decisions taken in Qandil and implemented in Manbij.
There are over 6,000 PKK terrorists who were born in Iran, Turkey, Iraq and Syria and then trained in terror camps currently located in Manbij. Higher ranking PKK terrorists in Manbij are all foreign fighters appointed by the Qandil cadre.
Manbij’s so-called Chief of General Staff is Jamil Mazlum, who is known for his close links to the U.S. The PKK, which divided Manbij into eastern and western military forces, appointed Kemal Mustafa as the commander of the western forces, and Jamil as the commander of the eastern forces.
PKK administrators in Manbij use armor provided by Washington. Former Local Council President Mustafa Haji Abdullah said that all PKK operatives who have critical duties go out with their faces covered and with many security measures. Abdullah added that the terrorists in the region use codenames and fake IDs.
The U.S has supplied the PYD terror organization and its armed wing, the YPG, with more than 5,000 truckloads of weapons to allegedly use in the fight against Daesh, despite Ankara’s warnings that the fact they are the Syrian offshoots of the PKK, which both countries, and the EU, have listed as a terror organization.
Some Arabs appointed by the PKK in Manbij are used as a smokescreen and actually have no authority, Abdullah added.
