Largest amount of the total weapons are sent to PKK/PYD terrorist in Hasakah of Syria, as US-made a delivery three times in the last two weeks alone
The United States (US) has delivered large amounts of ammunition to the terrorist organization Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK)- affiliated Democratic Union Party (PYD) in Syria. The largest amount of the total weapons were sent to the terrorist in Hasakah as the U.S. delivery was carried out three times in the last two weeks alone.
The delivery was verified by Turkey's Anadolu Agency sources. According to the sources, the cargo planes reached PKK/PYD terrorists based at Rumeylan Air Base from Arbil.
The Rumeylan Airbase was established by the U.S. in 2015 October.
The move of the United States is contradictory to the speeches of the American officials, as previously the U.S. Ambassador to Ankara John Bass said his country doesn't provide weapons to PKK/PYD.
Bass' speech was followed by a weapon delivery which landed in Rumeylan Air Base of Syria.
West aware of PKK's affiliation with PYD
An article that was published in the journal of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) revealed the fact that the United States (U.S.) along with other western countries are aware of the links of the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) and the Democratic Union Party (PYD).
Previously Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan had said that US is supporting PKK/PYD terrorists instead of fighting against Daesh.
Ankara denounces the PYD and YPG as affiliates of the PKK terrorist organization, which have been conducting terrorist attacks targeting Turkey for three decades and which is designated as a terrorist group by Turkey, the United States and the European Union.
However, Washington insists on indicating that YPG is their ally against Daesh, despite Turkey's warnings.
US shared intel with PKK/PYD
Recent reports revealed that the U.S. has been sharing intelligence with the PKK/PYD in Syria, as a move against Turkey-backed Free Syrian Army soldiers.
PKK-affiliated terrorists are playing a significant negative role on the ongoing Euphrates Shield operation against FSA soldiers.
The Euphrates Shield operation was launched between the Turkish Armed Forces and the Free Syrian Army, with the aim to sweep Daesh from Syria, and has been running for 126 days.
The operation has neutralized more than 1,000 terrorists since its launch on August 24.
