Israeli army continues to blow up more Palestinian homes in Beit Lahia in northern Gaza, according to witnesses
Seven Palestinians, including at least two children, were killed in fresh Israeli airstrikes in the Gaza Strip on Monday, a medical source said.
A woman and her two children lost their lives when Israeli warplanes conducted airstrikes in the northern city of Beit Lahia, the source said.
Three people of the same family were also killed when fighter jets hit a home in the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza, the source added.
Another Palestinian was killed and several people were injured in a drone strike on a home in the same camp.
A husband, his wife, and two children were also injured in another drone strike on their home in the southern city of Khan Younis, witnesses said.
According to witnesses, Israeli army forces continued to blow up more Palestinian homes in Beit Lahia in northern Gaza amid its ongoing offensive in the area.
The Israeli attacks on northern Gaza are taking place amid a disruption of civil defense operations due to Israel's deliberate targeting of their teams and equipment.
The Israeli army has continued a deadly onslaught in northern Gaza since Oct. 5 to reportedly prevent the Palestinian resistance group Hamas from regrouping amid a siege on the area. Palestinians, however, accuse Israel of seeking to occupy the area and forcibly displace its residents.
Israel has continued a devastating offensive on Gaza since an attack last year by Hamas, despite a UN Security Council resolution demanding an immediate cease-fire.
More than 43,300 people have since been killed, mostly women and children, and over 102,000 others injured, according to local health authorities.
Israel also faces a genocide case at the International Court of Justice for its actions in Gaza.
