A small airplane crashed Wednesday in southern France, leaving one person dead and three others injured, local media reported.
The aircraft, which was carrying four people, crashed near the town of Barcelonnette-Saint-Pons in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence department, then started to burn.
Helicopters and ambulances were sent to the scene.
An investigation has been launched to find the cause of the accident, which remains unknown.
