At least 38 people were killed and 155 others wounded in two separate bomb attacks in the Besiktaş district of Istanbul, the country's interior minister said.
There were two blasts 45 seconds apart, with one of them self-detonated by a suicide bomber in central Beşiktaş district's Maçka Park, and the other a car bomb that was detonated in a nearby street.
Parliament spokesman and Deputy Prime Minister Numan Kurtulmuş said the initial findings show that the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) terrorists are behind the Istanbul attacks.
However no terrorist organization has yet claimed responsibility for the attacks.
