Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu released earlier a statement on Sunday about the two bomb attacks that targeted the police last night in the Beşiktaş district of Istanbul.
The minister said that security forces have arrested 10 people as part of the investigation into the car bomb terror attack.
The number of detainees has escalated to 14 on advancing hours.
A day of national mourning was declared following the attacks.
