The Istanbul Governorate stated that as many as 155 people were injured in the terrorist attacks that struck Turkey's megacity Istanbul on Saturday.
"Nineteen of the total wounded are reported to be in serious condition," the statements added.
There were two blasts 45 seconds apart, with one of them self-detonated by a suicide bomber in central Beşiktaş district's Maçka Park, and the other a car bomb that was detonated in a nearby street.
Parliament spokesman and Deputy Prime Minister Numan Kurtulmuş said the initial findings show that the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) terrorists are behind the Istanbul attacks.
However no terrorist organization has yet claimed responsibility for the attacks.
