Israeli military says Revolutionary Guard facilities targeted across Iran
The Israeli military said Sunday that it carried out an "extensive wave" of strikes targeting Iranian weapons production capabilities.
It said it targeted weapons production infrastructure belonging to Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), the Guards' Quds Force and Iranian army facilities.
It also shared infographics allegedly showing targeted locations across Iranian territory.
In a post on X, it said the Israeli Air Force and Navy had intercepted more than 100 drones launched from Iran since Friday, reporting no impacts within Israeli territory.
The announcement follows escalating tensions since Friday's initial Israeli strikes on Iranian nuclear and missile facilities that killed top military commanders and scientists.
Iran responded with ballistic missile attacks targeting multiple areas across Israel, causing casualties and property damage.
