Turkish soldiers are distributing bread to people in northwestern Syria's Afrin region, which was recently purged of terrorists during Operation Olive Branch.

The soldiers have set up a mobile oven in Jinderes town, which has the capacity to produce 6,000 loaves of bread every day.

Ahmed Mustafa, who came to collect bread, told Anadolu Agency people in Jinderes are very happy due to the arrival of Turkish soldiers.

Before their arrival, he said: "Everything was very expensive. We could not bring something to our town due to the blocked roads. Everyone will go back to their work. We hope life will get back to normal soon."

On Jan. 20, Turkey launched Operation Olive Branch with the aim of eliminating YPG/PKK and Daesh terrorists from Afrin.

On Mar. 18, Turkish troops backed Syrian forces liberated Afrin's town center.

The Turkish Armed Forces are now working to restore everyday life in Afrin by providing much-needed humanitarian aid.

More than 3,800 terrorists were “neutralized” since the start of the operation, allowing many displaced residents to return to their homes.
