Suspect nabbed along Turkish-Greek border, says Turkey's National Defense Ministry
Three people, including a PKK/KCK terror suspect, were held while trying to flee to Greece through Turkey's northwestern border, according to the Turkish National Defense Ministry on Wednesday.
The suspects were held by Turkish border troops in the northwestern Edirne province, said the ministry in a statement.
In its more than 35-year terror campaign against Turkey, the PKK – listed as a terrorist organization by Turkey, the US, and EU – has been responsible for the deaths of 40,000 people, including women, children, and infants.
