Israeli army struck 2 homes in Gaza City on Wednesday dawn

At least 13 more Palestinians on Wednesday dawn were killed in deadly Israeli strikes on civilian homes in Gaza City as Israel continues its genocide defying international calls for a ceasefire.

The official Palestinian news agency Wafa quoted medical sources as saying that 10 Palestinians were killed in a single deadly airstrike on a home for "Hassouna" family in the Al-Nafaq Street area in central Gaza City.

Three more civilians were killed in an Israeli strike on a home in the Al-Tuffah neighborhood in eastern Gaza City, the sources also said.

Meanwhile, overnight heavy artillery shelling was reported on the Abasan town east of Khan Younis, in the southern Gaza Strip, according to local sources.

The Israeli army renewed a deadly assault on Gaza on March 18, shattering a ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement that took hold in January.

At least 51,000 Palestinians, most of them women and children, have been killed in Gaza in a brutal Israeli onslaught since October 2023.

The International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants last November for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.

Israel also faces a genocide case at the International Court of Justice for its war on the enclave.
