Houthis-affiliated media outlet did not provide more details about casualties or damage caused by airstrikes on island in Al Hudaydah province
Yemen's Houthi group said on Tuesday that US forces carried out 15 airstrikes on Kamaran Island in the western province of Al Hudaydah.
“More than 15 US airstrikes targeted Kamaran Island,” Al-Masirah TV, affiliated with the Houthis, reported.
No further details were provided regarding the casualties or damage caused by the airstrikes.
On Monday, the Houthis also reported a series of US strikes on Kamaran Island.
As of 1800GMT, there has been no official comment from the US regarding the reported strikes on the island.
Kamaran is the largest Yemeni island in the Red Sea and an administrative part of Al Hudaydah, a major Yemeni province with three important ports and a long coastline.
Last month, US President Donald Trump said he had ordered "decisive and powerful military action" against the Houthis and later threatened to "completely annihilate them."
The Houthis have targeted ships passing through the Red and Arabian seas, the Bab al-Mandab Strait, and the Gulf of Aden since November 2023 in solidarity with Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, where 51,000 people have been killed in a brutal Israeli assault in the more than 18 months.
The group halted attacks when a Gaza ceasefire was declared in January between Israel and the Palestinian group Hamas but resumed them after renewed Israeli airstrikes on Gaza last month.
