A Greek court ruled to keep the eight Turkish soldiers who fled to Greece after the failed July 15 coup attempt in Turkey in custody on Wednesday.
Greece's Supreme Court ruled against the extradition of all eight soldiers on Thursday.
The soldiers fled Turkey on the night of the coup bid in a Blackhawk helicopter and landed in Greece seeking political asylum.
The soldiers are members of the Fetullah Terrorist Organization (FETÖ), the group behind the failed coup plot.
FETÖ terrorists are led by U.S.-based Fetullah Gülen, who is the mastermind behind a long-running campaign to overthrow the state through infiltration of Turkish institutions, particularly the military, police and judiciary.
