Hakan Fidan, Georg Georgiev also discuss bilateral and regional issues, says Türkiye's Foreign Ministry
Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan conveyed best wishes to his new Bulgarian counterpart Georg Georgiev for taking charge, the Turkish Foreign Ministry said on Friday.
During the phone conversation, Fidan and Georgiev also discussed bilateral and regional issues, and the Turkish foreign minister stressed importance of strengthening relations between Ankara and Sofia.
Georgiev took over the post from his predecessor, Ivan Kondov, on Friday.
