Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu has said that Turkey will lose no time to retaliate Saturday's terrorist attacks in Istanbul that left 38 people dead and 155 others wounded.
On Sunday, Soylu vowed to avenge the lives of the more than 30 people killed in the twin bombings outside an Istanbul soccer stadium in the Beşiktaş district, and warned those who voiced support for the attackers on social media.
"Sooner or later, we will take our revenge. This blood will not be left on the ground no matter what the price, what the cost," Soylu said in a speech at the funeral held at the Istanbul police headquarters.
There were two blasts 45 seconds apart, with one of the bombs them self-detonated by a suicide bomber in central Beşiktaş district's Maçka Park, and the other a car bomb that was detonated in a nearby street.
Ankara said the initial findings show that the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) terrorists are behind the Istanbul attacks. However no terrorist organization has yet claimed responsibility for the attacks.
