Israeli army continues blowing up homes, artillery shelling across Gaza

The Israeli army continued its overnight artillery shelling and blowing up of homes and residential squares across the war-torn Gaza Strip, as its genocidal war has been taking place for over 14 months.

Eyewitnesses told Anadolu that the Israeli army struck areas in Beit Lahia and Jabalia in the northern Gaza Strip with artillery shells.

The army also carried out blowing up operations to homes and buildings in the Jabalia refugee camp, the witnesses added.

The Israeli army's artillery shelling continued on the neighborhoods of Zeitoun, Tel al-Hawaand Al-Sabra, in eastern and southeastern Gaza City, for over four hours early Tuesday, according to witnesses.

In the central Gaza Strip, the Israeli army's artillery also heavily struck the Bureij refugee camp and the northwestern areas of the Nuseirat refugee camp.

While in eastern Rafah city, in the southernmost Gaza Strip, the Israeli army blew up several buildings in the al-Jneinah neighborhood along with artillery shelling attacks on the area.

This attack came amid deadly overnight airstrikes across the Gaza Strip that left at least 12 people killed and others injured, according to local sources.

Israel has launched a genocidal war on the Gaza Strip following a Hamas attack last year, killing more than 44,230 people, most of them women and children, and injuring over 104,600.

The second year of genocide in Gaza has drawn growing international condemnation, with figures and institutions labeling the attacks and blocking of aid deliveries as a deliberate attempt to destroy a population.

On Thursday, the International Criminal Court (ICC) issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.

Israel also faces a genocide case at the International Court of Justice over its brutal war on Gaza.
