Turkish President highlights importance of fighting against all terrorist organizations, FETÖ, Daesh and al-Qaeda, which harm territorial integrity, security and peace of region along with Islam

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said that Turkey will determinedly struggle with all bloody terrorist organizations, particularly, the Fetullah Terrorist Organization (FETÖ), Daesh and Al-Qaeda, which are against Islam.

Erdoğan's remarks came during his speech at the Pakistan National Assembly as a part of his official visit to the country.

"I believe we should continue to cooperate against all the terrorist organizations. It is certain that Western countries are standing by Daesh. Now Iraq, Pakistan, Afghanistan and many others are suffering from terrorism and separatist terrorism. The terrorist organizations don't just harm the territorial integrity of the countries, but also Islam by making some parties mentioning Islam with terrorism," he said.

Erdoğan also touched upon the positive relations of Turkey and Pakistan, adding that the two countries may bring solutions to the crisis that the region is facing by cooperating more.

"The Kashmir issue, which hasn't been solved for 70 years, is a bleeding wound that should be solved immediately," said Erdoğan, referring to the Kashmir conflict, primarily between India and Pakistan, which had started just after the partition of India almost 70 years ago.

“Turkey and Pakistan are not so-called brothers; we are brothers in real terms," Turkish President added.

Turkey has been fighting against the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) terrorists and the Fetullah Terrorist Organization (FETÖ) and Daesh terrorist organization in Turkey along with its fight in the region, particularly in Syria and Iraq.
