Kerem Akturkoglu joins Benfica from Galatasaray on 5-year contract

Portuguese club Benfica confirmed Tuesday the signing of Turkish player Kerem Akturkoglu until 2029.

"Winger Kerem Aktürkoglu, 25, is a new addition to the professional football team of Sport Lisboa e Benfica. A Turkish international, he signed a five-year contract with Glorioso (until 2029), transferring from Galatasaray to Luz," Benfica said.

Akturkoglu helped the Lions bag the two Turkish Super Lig titles and the Turkish Super Cup.

The 25-year-old scored 46 goals and 42 assists in 179 games.
