2 fishermen also injured in Israeli navy fire off the coast of Khan Younis
The Israeli army early Thursday killed at least six Palestinians in strikes across Gaza, a day after it killed 100 Palestinians in a 24-hour period, according to medics.
The official Palestinian news agency Wafa quoted medical sources as saying that five people were killed in an Israeli airstrike on a home in Beit Lahia town in the northern Gaza Strip.
It added that rescue teams are struggling to rescue a woman from under the rubble of the struck home.
Separately, a Palestinian girl was killed and four others injured in an Israeli artillery shelling on tents hosting displaced people in the western Khan Younis city.
Local sources reported that two fishermen were also injured by Israeli navy fire off the coast of Khan Younis.
The deadly attacks come a day after Israel killed 100 Palestinians in a 24-hour period in strikes across the war-devastated enclave.
The Israeli army has launched a brutal military onslaught on Gaza, killing more than 52,600 people, mostly women and children, since Oct. 7, 2023.
The International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants last November for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.
Israel also faces a genocide case at the International Court of Justice for its war on the enclave.
