Casualties include senior officers, according to daily Israel Hayom
Nine Israeli soldiers were injured during military offensives in northern Gaza, Israeli media reported Saturday.
According to daily Israel Hayom, the soldiers were wounded in fighting in the Shejaiya neighborhood.
Israeli Army Radio said the soldiers were injured by an explosive device detonated during a sweep operation.
Among the wounded are the commander of Battalion 6310 and the deputy commander of the 252nd Division, the report added.
The Israeli army has not issued an official statement on the incident.
Nearly 52,800 Palestinians have been killed in Gaza in a brutal Israeli onslaught since October 2023, most of them women and children.
The International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants last November for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.
Israel also faces a genocide case at the International Court of Justice for its war on the enclave.
