The U.S. shares its roadmap determined for a divided Syria with its so-called canton presidents, announced unilaterally by the PYD terrorist organization
The United States gathered its so-called Canton presidents, announced unilaterally by the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK)-affiliated Democratic Union Party (PYD) terrorist organization, in the Rimeylan Airbase in al-Hasakah, Syria, and shared its road map with the terrorist organization’s ringleaders, detailing a divided Syria. Washington instructed PKK’s so-called presidents to be “ready for a ‘Northern Syria Autonomous Cantons’ election on Sept. 22, and the ‘Democratic Northern Syria State’ general elections in December, 2017.”
The roadmap determined by the U.S. will turn the Ayn al-Arab, Afrin and Jazira Cantons into microstates. An autonomous region election will be held in September, and the terrorist microstates will be legitimized. In December, a condominium election will be held for a Democratic Northern Syria Federation. According to the plan, the region will be governed by the PKK, which has been named as “Democratic Northern Syria Federation.” Yeni Şafak has been informed that the U.S. experts will actively support the PKK in this process.
The PYD terrorist organization will create new laws, make autonomous decisions regarding population, education, title deeds, citizenship, economy, use of natural sources, army, public order and similar issues, in the terrorist microstates that they plan to establish in northern Syria. The U.S. experts will have an active role in the regulations to be made in all regions, particularly in al-Hasakah, Afrin, Tell Abyad, Al-Darbasiyah, Manbij and Raqqa.
The U.S. representatives want the pirate cantons established in the regions, occupied by PYD with the U.S., and so-called parliaments governed by the terrorist organization, to be turned into microstates on schedule. Pentagon also made a commitment to the terrorist organization regarding the pirate corridor from Kirkuk to the Mediterranean, following the declaration of the “PKK-PYD Confederation” after 2018.
The autonomous state referendum announced by the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG), and PKK’s elections, serving the same purpose in northern Syria, will be held simultaneously. The United States told the PKK government that the PKK would be the biggest power of the region in the long run, and they will continue to support the PKK Kurdistan map that involves Iran in the near and long term.
The Assad regime slammed the elections that PYD plans to hold in northern Syria. “[The elections] will be a joke. Syria will never ever allow any part of its territory to be separated,” Syrian regime’s Deputy Foreign Minister Faisal Mekdad said in an interview with Reuters and the BBC. Pointing out that they needed to maintain order in the PYD-held regions sooner or later, “Those who will move [to divide Syria] know what price they have to pay,” said Mekdad. He also said they believed that in the north of Syria they had Syrian citizens “who would not endanger the situation in the country.”
The capital of the Democratic Northern Syria Terror Corridor will be Ayn al-Arab. The Afrin-Ayn al-Arab link will be maintained to be ensured through alternative lines. The United States and PYD will continue their diplomatic efforts and field activities to foil the Euphrates Shield Operation, and ensure Turkish troops withdraw from the region. PYD will distribute new ID cards in the Democratic Northern Syria pirate state, which is planned to be established under the leadership of the U.S. in January 2018. The passport and ID registrations of the Damascus government will be expunged, and a new citizenship law will be enacted.
