Due to coronavirus pandemic, national flag carrier and Airbus reschedule certain deliveries

Turkey's flag carrier Turkish Airlines announced Friday that it reviewed its fleet plan with Airbus due to the effects of the coronavirus pandemic on the aviation.

In agreement with Airbus, the company rescheduled certain deliveries and adapted the overall outstanding orders to their operational and financial capabilities to ensure a solid basis for the future of the airline, it said in a filing posted on Borsa Istanbul's public disclosure platform.

"This agreement also takes into account the strong industrial partnership that exists between Airbus and Turkey which is essential in these difficult times of our industry," it noted.
