Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA) has provided welding and metalwork training in the Republic of Guinea.
According to a written statement from TIKA, 36 trainees underwent the 45-day program aimed at increasing employment in the western African country.
The trainees included teachers, students, technicians and industrial technicians who received certificates signed by TIKA president and Guinean Technical Affairs Ministry at the end of the training program.
Ismail Gürlek, TIKA's Coordinator in Guinea told Anadolu Agency that necessary equipment used during the training program were provided by the agency.
Those who successfully completed the program will travel to Turkey to learn about the Turkish industry, Gürlek said.
