Turkey's Foreign Minister on Tuesday said that Khalifa Haftar leaving Moscow without signing a ceasfire deal shows the east Libyan commander does not want peace.
"Haftar not signing the Libya truce deal shows who wants war and who wants peace," Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu said.
Haftar, the commander of the Libyan National Army, has left Moscow without signing a ceasefire agreement drafted at talks in Russia on Monday, the TASS news agency cited the Russian Foreign Ministry as saying on Tuesday.
Speaking to reporters in Ankara, Cavusoglu said Turkey had done what it can to ensure the ceasefire, adding that if Haftar continues to act this way a Libya summit planned to be held Berlin on Sunday will have no meaning.
