As many as three soldiers were martyred and five others were wounded in the attack close to al-Bab during the Euphrates Shield Operation that is being conducted in northern Syria to sweep the region from the terrorists, as a support to Turkey-backed Free Syrian Army (FSA) fighters.
The wounded soldiers were taken to the hospital in the southeastern Turkish province of Gaziantep, bordering war-torn Syria.
The Turkish military launched the operation, dubbed 'Euphrates Shield', on August 24.
The Turkish military is conducting the operation amid high security measures to avoid any civilian casualties.
