Six Turkish soldiers become injured for an unknown reason in al-Bab, where the Euphrates Shield operation is being conducted to sweep terrorists in northern Syria
As many as six soldiers have been wounded in the al-Bab region of Syria during the ongoing Euphrates Shield operation that is being conducted to sweep the Daesh and Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) terrorists from the north of the country.
The wounded soldiers were taken to a hospital in the Turkish province of Kilis. None of the soldiers were reported to be in serious condition.
The cause of the injuries remain unknown.
The Turkish military launched the operation, dubbed 'Euphrates Shield', on August 24 to support the Free Syrian Army (FSA) soldiers and the operation entered its 120th day.
The Turkish military is conducting the operation amid high security measures to avoid any civilian casualties.
