Dozens of people were killed when Syrian regime barrel bombs on Saturday,fell on the rebel dominated eastern neighborhood of Al-Shaar in the Syrian city of Aleppo, while many other people were also wounded.
According to Anadolu Agency, at least 85 people were killed in alleged barrel bomb attacks carried out by the Bashar al-Assad regime in the northern Syrian province of Aleppo on Saturday, a Syrian opposition coalition said.
According to the Syrian Revolution General Commission, at least 70 people were killed and 90 others were injured.
Also, regime helicopters allegedly dropped barrel bombs on the al-Sheaar neighborhood in Aleppo city that left 15 people dead and 20 others injured, the network added.
Al-Bab, about 40 kilometers northeast of Aleppo city, is under the control of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant.
