Russian President Vladimir Putin and Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu discussed the possibility of Russia pardoning U.S.-Israeli national Naama Issachar when they spoke by phone on Monday, Kremlin aide Yuri Ushakov said.
Netanyahu asked Putin last week to pardon Issachar who was sentenced by Russia to 7-1/2 years in jail for drug smuggling.
