A Palestinian died Friday of his wounds he sustained in last week's Israeli military attacks in the blockaded Gaza Strip, according to Palestinian Health Ministry.
"Mohammed Salem al-Sawarka, 40, died of wounds after being injured on Nov. 14 by the latest Israeli aggression on Gaza," the ministry said in a statement.
The number of martyrs from al-Sawarka now reached nine, including five children and two women, killed by an Israeli airstrike on their home in Deir al-Balah city of central Gaza Strip.
The airstrike took place during a two-day military escalation following the killing of Bahaa Abu al-Atta, a senior commander of Islamic Jihad, and his wife Asmaa in an airstrike on their home in eastern Gaza Strip.
At least 35 Palestinians, including eight children, have been killed and dozens injured in recent Israeli attacks.
