Punjab Governor, Muhammad Balighur Rehman, and Turkish Ambassador to Pakistan, Dr. Mehmet Pachachi, recently engaged in strategic discussions focusing on augmenting bilateral relations, reports the Pakistan Today.


The Governor emphasized on the potential benefits Pakistan could reap from Türkiye's robust advancements in science and technology, with an aim to elevate bilateral trade dynamics, enhancing the already strong bond between the historically allied nations.


The talks also featured the Governor's acknowledgment of Recep Tayyip Erdogan's re-election as Türkiye's President, interpreting this as a reflection of the Turkish population's confidence in Erdogan's leadership.


A pivotal part of the dialogue revolved around Türkiye's substantial investments in Pakistan's transportation sector and the proposition of fortifying collaborative efforts across a broad array of sectors, particularly in education, agriculture, and tourism.


Moreover, the Ambassador hinted at the prospect of enhanced student and teacher exchange programs within the higher education sector.
