An 18-year-old Nepali climber on Wednesday made history in mountaineering, becoming the world's youngest climber to ascend all 14 peaks above 8,000 meters (26,247 feet). Nima Rinji Sherpa joined the coveted club of 8,000 meters on early Wednesday when he reached 8,027-meter Mt. Shishapangma, located in Nepal, daily The Himalayan reported.He completed all 14 peaks in just 2 years and 40 days. Nima's exceptional journey began in September 2022 when he climbed his first 8,000-meter peak, Mt. Manaslu (8,163 meters or 26781 feet). Over the subsequent 2 years and 10 days, he consistently climbed one towering summit after another, including the world's tallest peak, Mt. Everest in May 2023, and the second-highest K2 in July 2023.
