The foreign ministers of Jordan and the Greek Cypriot Administration (GCA) discussed strengthening bilateral relations and regional issues on Thursday.
Ayman al-Safadi spoke on the telephone with his GCA counterpart Ioannis Kasoulides and highlighted increasing coordination in the framework of strategic relations with the European Union, according to a statement by the Jordanian Foreign Ministry.
They talked about developments in the region and steps to ensure its stability.
The ministers also agreed to keep contacts and consultations on the issues of mutual interest to both countries.
Al-Safadi also congratulated Kasoulides, who recently took the GCA foreign minister’s post.
