Israel says drone crashed during "routine security activity" over southern Lebanon
An Israeli drone reportedly crashed in southern Lebanon on Wednesday amid conflicting reports about the cause of the crash.
The Israeli military said the drone fell adjacent inside Lebanon near the border during a “routine security activity”.
It, however, did not specify the cause of the crash.
The Lebanese National News Agency said the drone was shot down by a civilian with a hunting rifle over Fatima Gate in southern Lebanon.
There was no comment from Lebanese authorities on the incident.
