One person was killed in a terrorist attack in Syria’s northwestern al-Bab city on Thursday.
The victim, a civilian, was fatally wounded when a car rigged with explosives detonated near the Fatima Zahra Mosque in the city center, according to preliminary information.
Local security forces investigating the incident suspect the bombing may have been carried out by the YPG/PKK terrorist group.
The Daesh/ISIS terror group also had a presence in Al-Bab a few years ago, but was eliminated from the area in early 2017 by Turkiye’s Operation Euphrates Shield.
