The Bashar al-Assad regime of Syria, backed by Iran and Russia, continue to launch attacks on eight neighborhoods of the northern Syrian province of Aleppo, amid ongoing ground attacks that were launched by the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK)-affiliated Democratic Union Party (PYD) and Shi'ite militia.
Assad's regime forces are launching attacks on Turkmen neighborhoods and relocating Kurdish-origin people to Turkmen neighborhoods.
More than 100 Kurdish families are now inhabiting Turkmen villages, particularly Bağrıyanık, Höllük and Bostanpaşa, which are located in the Afrin canton of Aleppo.
The regime forces also promised to give the land title of the houses to the Kurdish-origin families, while Assad didn't give land titles to the residents since 1969.
Many of the people inhabiting the towns were heard to have shouted slogans in support of PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan.
Stealing belongings, houses of residents
The looting has intensified in the northern and western parts of the city. The Assad forces and Shi'ite militia have been stealing all the possessions of the people that left their houses, due to the ongoing attacks particularly in Sahor and Baydin villages.
According to the opposition sources, the new plan will be implemented in Dara, Hums and Damascus after Aleppo, as the real target is indicated to be an inhabiting policy.
The stolen properties include televisions, fridges, air conditioning units and some furniture.
Hundreds of thousands facing death risk
Around 300,000 civilians residing in Aleppo are facing death threats due to the airstrikes targeting the opposition-controlled neighborhoods of the city.
However, more than 10 percentage of the total residents are now facing PKK/PYD threats, as they remain in the parts that the terrorist organization occupies.
Russia and the Assad regime are known to bomb Aleppo, the Syrian province located 50 kilometers from Turkey as a part of terrorist organizations' and Assad's target to control northern Syria by taking the land from the moderate opposition.
The civil war in Syria has killed more than 250,000 people, according to the United Nations. The Syrian Center for Policy Research has put the total death toll from conflict at more than 470,000.
