Iranian MP Quddusi has confirmed that internationally recognized terrorist Qasem Soleimani was asked to come to Aleppo by Assad
Javad Karimi Quddusi, member of the Iranian parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Committee, has confirmed that major general Qasem Soleimani has been stationed in Aleppo.
Soleimani has an international travel ban, as he is recognized as a terrorist and is subjected to numerous sanctions by both the U.S. and the EU.
“Qasem Soleimani's visit to Aleppo was made upon request of the Syrian authorities for both strategic and military reasons," said Quddusi.
Upon sighting Soleimani in Aleppo, the U.S. administration announced that the visit would be reported to the United Nations Security Council.
In response to the claims of the U.S., Quddusi said “America cannot take legal or political action" because Soleimani travelled to Aleppo upon the request of the Syrian authorities.
The Assad regime attempted to prevent the evacuation of Aleppo despite the ceasefire and evacuation agreement pioneered by Turkey and Russia.
During the attacks organized by the Iranian general Sayyed Jawad, it was revealed that Soleimani was present.
Soleimani has been in charge of numerous military operations across Syria and Iran.
