Prominent Turkish aid foundations which cannot keep still about the slaughter in Aleppo, have commenced the “Extend your hand for Aleppo” campaign
Turkey's Beşir Association, TÜMSİAD, an industry and business association, Semerkand, Mostar and International Brotherhood Peace and Morals (UKBA) associations and Confederation of Youth Education and Culture (GENÇKON) have announced another aid campaign for Aleppans in a press conference.
The President of Beşir Association, Cevdet Şanlı, stated, “We, as charity foundations, have come together upon the massacre in Aleppo, intending to contribute to put out the Aleppan fire, even if it is just a bit, compared to the anguish Aleppans had been through."
“As a part of our campaign, the capacity of the bakery in Kilis, which makes around 100,000 breads daily, will be extended and two more mobile bakeries will be inaugurated as well as refugees' food and health needs will be largely met," he added.
The “Extend your hand for Aleppo" aid campaign has been launched to meet the victimızed Aleppan people's needs upon the permission of the Internal Ministry and Istanbul Governorship, following the public statement in Istanbul's Haliç Congress Center.
Accordingly, aid collecting and delivering centers have been established in 12 different points across Turkey.
