Twenty-two Daesh terrorists are killed, and 37 terrorist targets destroyed in Syria's al-Bab, in the Euphrates Shield operation
The Turkish Armed Forces has said that as many as 22 Daesh terrorists were killed and 37 terrorist targets were destroyed in the ongoing Euphrates Shield operation that is beİng conducted to sweep the Daesh and Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK)- affiliated terrorists in northern Syria with the support of Turkey.
The operation continues in al-Bab as Turkish soldiers with Free Syrian Army (FSA) fighters entered the city center two days ago.
The Euphrates Shield operation was launched between the Turkish Armed Forces and the Free Syrian Army, with the aim to sweep Daesh from Syria, and has been running for 121 days.
The Euphrates Shield operation has neutralized more than 1,000 terrorists since its launch on August 24.
Also, a 2,000 square-kilometer area has been cleared from terrorists so far.
