Thousands of people gathered in front of the Israeli Parliament (Knesset) in West Jerusalem on Tuesday to protest against the government's 2023-2024 budget as coalition members and lawmakers convened to pass the budget. The protesters voiced their rejection against the state budget that grants privileges to the Ultra-Orthodox Jews (Haredim), who make up approximately 13% of Israel's population.
