Trade includes Grayson Allen, Jae Crowder, Kyle Korverin exchange for Conley
The Memphis Grizzlies traded guard Mike Conley to the Utah Jazz in a deal.
Memphis traded the 12-year NBA veteran guard to the Jazz for Grayson Allen, Jae Crowder, Kyle Korver, the 23rd pick in Thursday’s Draft and a future first-round pick, NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski announced late Wednesday.
“The Jazz will send a protected 2020 first-round pick to the Grizzlies, league sources tell ESPN. That pick will convey as a late-lottery pick in 2020 or 2021, or become a lightly-protected pick from 2022-'24. Deal complete on July 6,’’ Wojnarowski said on Twitter.
Mike Conley confirmed the trade in a tweet.
“What more can I say about my city! You guys made me the man I am today! Memphis is home. Always! Time for another chapter! Excited to give all I have to The Jazz and Salt Lake City!,’’ he tweeted on Wednesday.
The 31-year-old guard has career averages of 14.9 points and 5.7 assists per game and never been an All-Star.
He also played with 21.1 points and 6.4 assists per game last season.
