Istanbul team bounce back to get second win in EuroLeague after strong showing in 4th quarter against Munich
Fenerbahce Beko defeated Bayern Munich 90-82 in Turkish Airlines EuroLeague to get their second win in seven matches.
The game at Ulker Sports and Event Hall was a close one throughout, as last season's Final Four finalist Fenerbahce managed to get the job done in the final frame, outscoring their opponent 29-20 in the 4th quarter.
Five players scored in double-digits for Fenerbahce, led by former NBA player Derrick Williams with 19 points.
Melih Mahmutoglu scored 14 points, hitting 4/5 three pointers, while Kostas Sloukas and Nando De Colo chipped in with 13 and 12 points.
For Bayern Munich, another former NBA player, Greg Monroe scored 19 points, but unable to prevent his team from suffering 4th loss in the young season.
