Prisoners enter Gaza through Kerem Shalom crossing, east of city of Rafah
Nine Palestinian prisoners were released from Israeli prisons and arrived in the Gaza Strip Thursday as part of phase three of the prisoner exchange agreement included in the recent Gaza ceasefire deal.
The prisoners entered Gaza through the Kerem Shalom crossing, located east of Rafah in the southern part of the region, facilitated by the International Committee of the Red Cross, an Anadolu correspondent reported.
The prisoners were then transferred to the Gaza European Hospital in Khan Younis, southern Gaza, for medical checkups.
