Opposition leader says, there will be no tolerance for debates in the party
Kemal Kiliçdaroglu, leader of the main opposition Republican People's Party, or CHP, said he will no longer tolerate intra-party debates.
'I have tolerated the debates in the party so far but this move will come to the end after the party's congress. There is no unlimited independence,' said Kiliçdaroglu, speaking to the Daily Milliyet on Friday.
'CHP is a liberal party but the borders of independence have been designed the party's rules and regulations as well as its traditions.'
Kiliçdaroglu also said the party's congress, held in September, has not aimed to reshuffle in the cabinet.
Dissident in the CHP have urged the party's chief Kiliçdaroglu to quit after the defeat in the elections which has caused a chaos in the party while Kiliçdaroglu decided to hold the congress sooner than the dissidents expected.
