Jostein Nielsen, a Norwegian tourist injured in the attack on Istanbul's Sultanahmet Square on Tuesday, said that he wants to come to Istanbul again when he was asked whether he wanted to come to Turkey again.
"I still haven't seen the Blue Mosque and Grand Bazaar. Of course, I would like to return," said Nielsen in the airport, after his medical treatment in Haseki Training and Research Hospital completed.
"I saw one man, he was most probably the bomber. I heard a click and then a loud bang. It was like blood rained all over us. I saw body parts around afterwards," he said.
"After the bombing, the units took us to the hospital in a short time. And they looked after us well enough," Nielsen added.
Nielsen and his partner, Magna Vaaje, were visiting Istanbul after their airplane, en route to Moldova, landed on Istanbul due to unfavorable weather conditions.
Nielsen sustained a leg injury and was discharged from the hospital after treatment.
The person responsible for the bombing was a suicide bomber who entered the country through Syria for the attack, which killed 10 foreigners, according to Turkish officials.
