The Israeli Health Ministry said on Friday that a global software malfunction has affected the hospitals and healthcare services in the country.
In a statement, the ministry said, “a widespread worldwide malfunction in computer servers affected hospitals and other health services in Israel.”
It noted that “this is not a cyber-attack but a malfunction in one of the software that led to the downfall of servers and computers.”
The Health Ministry added that it is working with a global company to quickly deal with the problem.
It did not provide any details on the specific hospitals affected by the malfunction.
