The latest U.S. arms convoy reached Syria’s Hasakah on Nov. 19, where they were paraded around the city by PKK terrorists in a show of strength
U.S. arms shipments to the PYD, the Syrian offshoot of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party’s (PKK), sent under the pretext of fighting Daesh, show no signs of slowing down after the terror organization has been cleared from most of the territories it had controlled.
After having previously sent 73-truck shipments on Nov. 14, a convoy made up of an additional 65 trucks was delivered to PKK terrorists by the U.S., which included new weapons, munitions and armored vehicles.
The latest U.S. arms convoy reached Syria’s Hasakah on Nov. 19, where they were paraded around the city by PKK terrorists in a show of strength.
Daesh was dislodged from its last strongholds in Iraq following the clearing of the Ramadi towns of al-Qaim, Rawan and Ana by the Iraqi Army. Meanwhile, the terror group lost its last foothold in Syria when the border town of al-Bukamal was seized by the Syrian Army. Following their defeat, Daesh terrorists escaped to Syria’s Homs – Badeyah and Iraq’s Anbar desert regions.
On the Deir Ezzor front, a total of 250 Daesh terrorists crossed to the east of the Euphrates River after the town of al-Bukamal was seized by the Syrian regime. They arrived in the region of al-Huesseinyeh, where a military base that belongs to the PKK- U.S. alliance is located, and surrendered to the Americans.
The U.S. is said to be still withdrawing agents it had dispatched to the region after 700 Daesh terrorists were evacuated from Raqqa. Sources say that a total of 200 U.S. soldiers are currently located in the eastern Raqqa towns of Tayyana, Sweidan, Shannam, al-Shaheel, Hawaeij and Shaniyeh, where three U.S. military bases had been established.
Back in early August, trucks were sent to PKK terrorists in northern Raqqa, which included weapons, high-capacity armored Hummer trucks, used by the U.S. military, in addition to 4x4 Jeeps and excavators.
In recent months, the U.S. has stepped up its support for PKK terrorists in Syria by sending hundreds of weapon trucks across the border from Iraq.
Turkey has repeatedly objected to U.S. arms being sent to the PYD, due to its links to the terrorist organization the PKK.
The PKK is listed as a terrorist organization by Turkey, the European Union and the United States. The PKK has been conducting armed violence in the southeastern part of Turkey since 1984. More than 40,000 people, mostly civilians, have been killed in the three-decade long conflict.
