‘Israel is, once again, showing world that it is only interested in bloodshed, war, and occupation,' Fahrettin Altun says

Türkiye's Communications Director Fahrettin Altun on Tuesday slammed Israel over its latest attacks on the Gaza Strip, which left more than 400 people dead, mostly children and women.

“Israel is, once again, showing the world that it is only interested in bloodshed, war, and occupation. They have been routinely violating the ceasefire agreement and now want to resume their ethnic cleansing activities,” Altun said on X.

Noting that Israel continues to ignore the international law and “all norms of human decency,” he said that the latest attack which has been portraying as “surprise attack” by the western media, is serving Israel's policy of genocide.

Criticizing the world for failing to call out the “slaughter of tens of thousands,” Altun said that the West continues to support the “genocidal regime in Tel Aviv” by giving material support to Israel.

“The failure of moral clarity on the Israeli actions will come back to bite them when they make arguments about human rights and democracy. The inability and unwillingness of the West to impose costs on Israel is simply appalling,” he further said.

Praising Palestinians' resistance against “colonialist occupiers,” Altun said: “Their resilient spirit cannot be broken. They will never bow down to oppressors. Those in the Israeli government know this well and they are helpless in the face of such resistance.”

Citing Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan's call for ending Israel's attack, he said: “The ‘civilized world' must come to its senses and stop this madness once and for all by holding the Israeli regime accountable and by pushing for the two-state solution.”

He concluded his statement by reaffirming Türkiye's support to Palestinians, adding: “Sooner or later, Palestine will be free!”
