Aleksandr Miheyev, General Manager of Russian state arms export company Rosoboroneksport, said the contract for the sales of the S-400 missile defense system to Turkey had been signed.
Although the final signatures were put down, “the contract has not yet come into force,” said Miheyev at a press conference in Moscow.
Consultations between Turkey and Russia regarding the S-400 missile defense systems are ongoing, he added.
“We are working on some technical details,” Miheyev said.
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan had previously announced that the contract for the S-400 Turkey is purchasing from Russia had been signed.
