Thousands of Palestinians show support for Qatar

Palestinians protesting the Israeli blockade of the Gaza Strip marched holding the flags of Palestine and Qatar.

A message of unity and solidarity was delivered by the Palestinians, who supported the Qataris who stood by them during the extended Israeli blockade.

Saudi Arabia and other Gulf nations including the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Bahrain, Egypt and Jordan, cut diplomatic ties with Qatar.

Palestinians carrying the flag of Qatar did not leave the nation alone during the diplomatic row.

Turkey is among the nations refusing to cut ties, and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said Ankara would never leave Doha isolated.

During a speech Erdoğan delivered at a Ramadan fast-breaking dinner in Istanbul, he said Turkey would support Qatar and help end the row.
