Putin: Karlov will be honored with the medal of state

The Russian president highlighted that the best response to the terrorist action is to heighten the war on terror and give no respite to terrorists in this fight:

“The aforementioned attack is definitely a provocation in a time when Turkey and Russia have decided to further strengthen their relations and seek a solution on the Syrian issue. We will investigate the hidden side of the incident with Turkey. We have reached a consensus with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on that matter in a telephone conversation yesterday. We have to find out who is really responsible for this."

Putin also said that the ambassador will be honored with the medal of state, by stressing Andrei Karlov was assassinated in the line of duty.
